Tyler can be abrasive and harsh. He often says what he thinks without considering how others will take it. He isn't afraid to speak his mind at any time. However, he is shown to have a soft spot for his sister, and looks out for her. He is quite protective of the people he cares for, a key example being Taylor. He can also have a soft spot for others, if he grows close enough towards them. He is very uncomfortable with showing his soft side from a possible fear of being hurt or left behind.
