These boots are (not actually paws but shaped like it) super speed boots. As long as they are worn, they grant their wearers super speed. The boots can also switch to bullet-time speeds if the user is threatened. If the shoes are intentionally damaged, the user transforms into a regular, non-sapient crest porcupine.
