Resentful for the loss of his loved ones, Madara's bitterness grew after Izuna's death, causing him to become unreasonable and harsh towards the Senju, particularly Hashirama. Despite his cold exterior, Madara was once kind and reasonable, willing to make sacrifices for the greater good.
