Lucius is gay and remained closeted to his mother for 'years' but is openly queer at sea. Despite his young age he is more experienced in relationships and breakups than most. He is very flirty with people around him and is dating Black Pete, who he has not seen in weeks due to Blackbeard pushing him off "The Revenge" and leaving him to drown. He was then found by other pirates and passed off ship from ship being tortured and is basically traumatized. He is now a prisoner on the pirate ship.
