Gangle's body is primarily made up of 5 ribbons; two of them acting as her arms, 2 as her legs, and one long ribbon in a descending spiral shape acting as her torso. Her face is a white porcelain mask with black eyes and mouth. She usually wears a smiling comedy mask, but when it gets broken, it shows a crying tragedy mask.
