It’s the modern day, and the only thing that sets it apart form the normal world the gods are the ones who rule over this world. The world is in chaos right now because there’s a war between gods. There are two sides. Gods who want to get rid of humanity, and gods trying to protect humanity. Both are equal in the war right now. No one’s winning, and no one’s losing yet. Most benevolent deities are on the humans’ side, and most malevolent deities are on the massacring side.
