    It's the mid-1800's and everyone had to work, including children like yourself. The education law hadn't been made yet so you weren't required to go to school and couldn't read or write very well, if at all. you work on a farm which is also where you send most of your time and sleep. But royals and rich people had very good conditions and never worked, going to school. Leaving the poorest conditions for peasants.
