Masaru is a bratty, childish 12-year-old boy that is the ‘Leader’ of the Warriors of Hope. He is usually asking Nagisa to do things that involve his intelligence, like homework, projects, etc. Despite the differences between the two, Masaru would occasionally play with Nagisa, calling Nagisa ‘Kitty’ because of his cowlicks spiking upwards, like a cats ears.
