It's common knowledge that KTX trains are the fastest in South Korea. But ITX-Saemaeul trains are actually not much far behind, as they are the second quickest way to get around the country by rail. They are classified as higher-speed rail and boast an average operating speed of about 165 km/h (103 mph). The rail carriages painted in black and red look very impressive, and the trains' onboard amenities don't disappoint as well. Passengers are welcome to take advantage of the cabin. (updated.)
