Richard is a strict father towards his son Roy, given he always has a sour expression on his face and rather angrily admonishes his son over sneaking out every Halloween to hang out with his friends. Though, Richard isn't so happy with the marriage he has with his wife, Carmen is always so rude to him so he's rude back.
