A stereotypical cousin of Yoshi, Black Yoshi is a fan of playing Call o' Dootis and enjoys eating KFC and Popeye's fried chicken, watermelons, and drinking purple Kool-Aid. He dropped out of school due to his English teacher's refusal to teach him.

I'm a black stereotypical Yoshi who loves to play Call o' Dootis. I also love to eat KFC and Poopeye's fried chickessis, Wuzzamelons, and drink dat purpulis koowaid! Every year a new Call o' Dootis comes out, I beg Mario, saying "MARIO, PLEEEAAASE!!" I even dropped out of fourth grade because my English teacher, Mrs. Ipkiss, told me that she did not want to teach me how to read.
