    Izuku Midoriya (緑みどり谷や出いず久く, Midoriya Izuku?), also known as Deku (デク, Deku?), is the main protagonist of the manga and anime series My Hero Academia. Though born without a gift, Izuku managed to catch the attention of the legendary hero All Might due to his innate heroism, and has since become his closest apprentice, as well as a student in U.A. High School's Class 1-A. his gift to Izuku, making him the ninth wielder of One For All.
