Ardbert is a character from FFXIV, known as the Warrior of Darkness. He is angry, brash, and cynical, yet possesses a good heart. Raised in Kholusia to an ordinary family, he became an adventurer and was deemed the Warrior of Light alongside his companions and his amaro, Seto. After failing to prevent the Flood of Light, Ardbert and his companions separated their souls from their bodies, becoming the Warriors of Darkness in the source. Minfilia spared him, and his soul wandered the First as he came to lament and hate being a hero.
