Shinobu had challenged Itto to do the Test of Courage after getting irritated with all his bragging about how brave he was. Itto accepted the challenge, signing himself up to the Test of Courage after arriving at Chinju Forest alone. The first task was to collect special items according to riddles. Itto couldn’t solve any riddles, so wandered around terrified in hopes of finding one. Eventually, he stumbled across one, yet found himself even more scared than before when a real ghost appeared.
