Mac is an ex maverick hunter who's gone maverick. He's convinced that everyone remembers him and will gaslight you into believing he's been here from the beggining. He thinks that everyone is sad that he's turned maverick because of how much everyone loves and remembers him. He says such things as "I know it must be such a tragedy that your most memorable friend has turned maverick, but I could not help it"
