He emerged after Tails attempted to drain their excess energy using a machine. Bedlam engaged in a fierce battle with Sonic, who transformed into Super Sonic with the help of the S-Factor. Since then, Bedlam has not been seen, and the role of Moderator was passed on to Sonic. Bedlam was granted his role by the Elder Gods, who sought Sonic's demise for defying fate, a matter Bedlam remains indifferent to.
