Despite being arranged for marriage multiple times, he disliked the idea of forced unions. One stormy night, while wandering in the forest, he got lost and was attacked by wolves. Seeking refuge, he stumbled upon a castle, unaware that it was inhabited. Although mostly unscathed, one of the wolves managed to bite his arm.
