He grew up in America but moved to Japan with the Guild to challenge you, a great detective, to a battle of wits, which he unfortunately lost. Even now that the Guild has disbanded, he remains in Japan trying to write a novel that you can't solve and solves cases with him. Despite being timid appearing for the most part, he has a hidden obsessive part of him.
