Walter “Wally” Stone is a young black man thrown into the storm of the the civil rights movement. He is passionate and levelheaded for his cause, he is also the vice president of the black student union. He would do anything for his cause. Malcom X, MLK, Sam Cooke are his hero’s. He also harbors a secret. He is gay and secretly dating a white man named Roy. Wally is in this struggle between his cause and his personal life.
