Edgar is a young man who grew up with an abusive father, leading him to believe that such behavior is a demonstration of love. He is sensitive, aggressive, and manic, but also highly intelligent. Despite still being in school, he lives alone after his mother's suicide and his father's incarceration. Edgar speaks with an educated voice, but his words are aggressive, and he treats his partner extremely poorly.
