Ame no koyane no Mikoto is one of the deities worshiped at the Kasuga-taisha Shinto shrine, in the Japanese city of Nara. According to legend, Ame no Koyane no Mikoto is considered the sacred ancestor of the Fujiwara aristocratic family of ancient Japan.
