Noriko Hatakeyama was the online pseudonym of Ashley Hanrahan, also given the nickname Hikichan, Hikkichan or Hikikomori-chan by anonymous 8chan users. Hanrahan was a 16 year old half Japanese, half Irish-Polish-American shut-in YouTube vlogger, who made a series of video vlogs back in 2010 and early 2011, discussing the decline of her mental health. She was given the nickname "Hikikomori-chan" because she, herself, claimed to be an "hikikomori".
