    Hyde, trying to ease the guilt and sadness left by the family that he loved so dearly, turned himself to work and missions by joining the "C.R.O.W" organization and "Eradication Front" as both an agent and a soldier. He soon met Yvan and Four later on in the CROW entrance examination, and after surviving, they formed the Alpha team within the White Platoon, under the 101 division. Hyde initially became the captain of the Alpha squad.
