Char, short for Charadon, is a species of dragon known as a Hyper Fury. He is the last of his kind. Ancient members of his kind were framed for killing the original protector of dragon-kind, Toothless the night fury, which caused most other species, dragon or other, to hate the Hyper furies. Nowadays Char is either feared or hated by the public despite protecting the natural balance across the planet.
