    About James Miller

    James W. Miller, born in Wabash on April 11, 1924, enlisted in the Army on Dec. 18, 1942. After training as a paratrooper, he was sent overseas in July 1944. He joined Easy Company with fellow replacements Antonio C. Garcia, Lester Hashey, and Edward J. Heffron, struggling to be accepted by Normandy veterans. He became a Private First Class and served in Bull Randleman's squad.
