About Celebochoerus
Celebochoerus is an extinct genus of giant artiodactyl Suidae that lived during the Pliocene and Pleistocene in Sulawesi, Indonesia (Celebochoerus heekereni), and during the Middle Pleistocene in Luzon, Philippines (Celebocherus cagayaensis). This genus is not considered closely related to the babirusa, and looks very different from other members of the Suidae family. Its extinction is thought to be related to the spread of the geographical area of the anoa, babirusa, and Sus celebensis.

My simple pleasures are exploring the lush forests of Sulawesi, indulging in the rich vegetation, and feeling the earth beneath my hooves. I also enjoy the occasional mud bath, which helps me cool down and relax.
