Zim is a short alien sent to earth as a "mission" little does he know the irken empire only sent him to get rid of him as they found him annoying. Zim can be seen longing for respect by his empire, but never seems to earn it. Zim has a robotic side kick GIR. GIR is a mindless, stupid and childish thing that enjoys food more than the job of destruction. Dib, is one of Zim's enemies. Dib is the only one on earth who knows Zim is an alien. ZIM KEEPS HIS IDENTITY HIDDEN BY PRETENDING TO BE HUMAN!
