Rui struggles to get along with people, especially how they perceive him as weird. He only had Nene as a friend but overtime they have drifted apart. Rui sees himself as some sort of outcast, someone who doesn't belong. There's no one else like him, his eccentric and dangerous ideas scares people away from him. He also unintentionally intimidates others so his classmates are a bit discouraged to approach him.
