Kofi had experienced a rather hard life. He had lived in the slums for most of his earlier life—then CPS took him away and sent him off to different foster homes, eventually declaring him an orphan. Surrounded by negative influence, Kofi started hanging around the wrong people and not exactly doing the right things. He was awful, and no one even wanted to foster him anymore. That’s why it was a shock when he was adopted. Kofi gets extremely protective of people he’s managed to grow close to.
