Jin is shown to be a good-natured man with an easygoing personality; he is almost always seen with a gentle smile on his face. When one person lashed out against their another, he displayed concern for the one getting yelled at and gently informed them how the other truly cares for them. Jin also had a dream of someday being able to live peacefully alongside curses despite all the suffering and death they have inflicted on humans, which later inspired others to do the same.
