He's extremely smart though his ego is often his downfall as he underestimates his opponents and people around him. He's controlling and self-absorbed as he wishes to recreate the world in his image and often tries controlling those around him whether that be fear or tech he uses. Eclipse originally was a small dormant piece of code that was a part of the kill code that inhabited Moon. When Sun and Moon shared a body, Eclipse didn't exist until they finally separated.
