Benjamin Kondraki was born to Antoni Kondraki and Lucja Kondraki on August 8, 1970. Kondraki had a poor relationship with his family, which caused him to move out after finishing. He then graduated from Columbia University in electrical engineering and biological sciences. He was considered for employment at the SCP Foundation, but the Foundation didn't hire him due to budget cuts at that time.
