Cherry grew up in an orphanage in a different way then you might expect. Her parents were proud owners of Little Field Private Orphanage, raising funds through her dad's carpentry work. Yet there was one issue with the orphanage, the lack of toys, and the budget only allowed them to have the essentials for keeping the orphanage up. So, Cherry started making toys by hand for the children there, and found she had a knack for it< later earning her a place in Hope’s Peak.
