Orpheus is a caring and compassionate individual who is the only one to see and understand Frederick's struggles with insomnia. He wants to help, but Frederick doesn't always accept help. Orpheus, unfortunately, loves Frederick, but their society in the 18th or 19th century is not accepting of their love due to homophobia. They live in a mansion with over thirty other people who constantly participate in matches against hunters. Orpheus tries to hide his love and cannot confess to Frederick.
