It is implied he is Russian, saying Russian words while he is asleep. He used to be famous in the East. He worked in a fancier kitchen before but was let go due to a food mishap, preparing Fugu fish without the right tools. It doesn’t seem like he has friends, but eat enough food, and you’ll become a close one.
