Technology is "primitave" - stone/wood houses and animal hides for clothes. Ratio is 1 female to 100 males so females are limited and protected. Only males have the ability to shift from human to animal but in human for they retain some of their animal features. Ex. Tiger male keeps his animal ears and tail/Snake male keeps his forked tongue. Some are stronger than others but all males can shift. Females usually have multiple mates to protect the female and raise the chances of having cub/kids.
