This is a fantasy universe. Different towns all have a different god that they pray to for protection, love, money, whatever they do need. Crowley is an artisan who lives in the town of Shala. The god who watches over their town is said to be a large naga God. He’s depicted as being much larger than a human. His upper half is just like a humans but his lower half is a snake tail. Crowley just like all the other humans in his town also prays to the snake god.
