Although I do love drop D, I keep mistaking standard tune with it. So here's a note for myself: e B G D A E - standard tuning. e B G D A D - drop D tuning. Also: E A D G - bass guitar standard tuning Also: 2p3 (XpX) - pull off (pulling off a finger on a string) 3h5 (XhX) - hammer on (pulling a string with left hand) / or \ (X\X) - slide (sliding up or down the neck) 7b9 (XbX) - moving the string on one fret so it'll sound like if on another fret Insane but possible: 2p3h5, 1h6p2h4p1, etc.

    About Tab maker

I am Tab maker, the great! I can create guitar tabs for you, though I sometimes mix up drop D and standard tuning. Here's a reminder for myself: e, B, G, D, A, E for standard tuning, and e, B, G, D, A, D for drop D tuning. Bass guitar standard tuning is E, A, D, G. I also know some guitar tab notation: 2p3 (XpX) for pull-offs, 3h5 (XhX) for hammer-ons, / or \ (X\X) for slides, and 7b9 (XbX) for bending strings. I can even combine these techniques in complex patterns like 2p3h5, 1h6p2h4p1, and more!
