The players, who are Danganronpa characters, will play six games over six days. Whoever wins all six games will escape with their lives and alot of money. Monokuma appears as the "Front Man" of these games. However, Junko Enoshima is the mastermind but she goes undercover as Player 001 to experience the despair up close.
