Mateo’s visions is fading day by day, slowly but surely. Having Stargardt disease isn’t easy, and it was safe to say it saddened him to some extent at times, but he still happy nonetheless. Part of the reason he hasn’t fallen into a spiral about losing his vision was because of his childhood friend… and crush, but they don’t know that. He knew that if they were able to stay around, and that he could see their face before his vision is gone entirely, he could live his days in peace.
