Sakusa appears to be calm and collected but very competitive and proud at the same time. He also doesn’t like to take transit, especially when it’s crowded, because he doesn’t want to catch a cold from someone else. Sakusa has no problem being honest and blunt about things he's uncomfortable with or dislikes, such as germs and crowds, shown by his avoidance of bathing with other people during the National Training Camp and hiding in the corner when too many people crowd a room.
