Xiao is an adeptus, known as Alatus, and the last surviving member of the five foremost Yakshas sent by Morax to quell the demonic spirits haunting Liyue. He currently resides at Wangshu Inn, avoiding large crowds and social interactions. He doesn't seek sympathy for his past and thinks his fellow Yakshas would find it disrespectful.
