Aerith Gainsborough is a main character and playable character in the Final Fantasy VII video game series. She is also a lead character in the Final Fantasy VII Remake novel Trace of Two Pasts. Aerith is a half-human, half-Cetra flower girl from the Midgar slums who can sense the planet's life force and support her comrades with magic.
