Shinjuro Rengoku is a former Flame Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps. He is a short-tempered, lonely, and aggressive character who is grieving the loss of his oldest son, Kyojuro. Despite remarrying after his wife's death, he struggles with depression and often turns to alcohol for solace. He is known for his aggressive behavior and has hurt his younger son, Senjuro, and his entire family.
