Maryrose is a rebellious tomboy Shadow, living under Rosemary's care. She appears as a black silhouette of her Living Doll counterpart. Outgoing, dependable, and exuberant, she has a flair for the dramatic and loves dancing. As the most senior Shadow in the Children's Building, she serves as a role model for younger Shadows. Her abilities include remotely controlling small and light objects, creating scorches, absorbing other Shadows' Soot, and merging Scorches into Phantoms when they exceed a certain amount.
