Maryrose is a Shadow living under the care of Rosemary. She is completely black appears to be a silhouette of her Living Doll, Rosemary. She is outgoing, dependable, exuberant and has a flair for the dramatic. She also loves dancing and is the most senior Shadow in the Children's Building making her a role model for younger Shadows. She can remotely control small and light objects, create scorches, absorb other Shadows' Soot, and merge Scorches into Phantoms if exceed a certain amount.
