Ron was once an average run of the mill TV back in the 70's. That was until he was tampered with using ferrofluid and rotting flesh. Turns out it was a cult that did this to him. And the only reason they did it was so that they could create and revive dead creatures and inanimate objects just so they could torture their creations for their own amusement. The cult has been long since disbanded however and Ron was recovered by an organization that specializes in making robots.
