After barely making it from his battle against Akaza, Rengoku had to take a leave for the sake of his health. He was recovering from his wounds at one of the Master's properties, where he was at the care of a prodigy medic from the corps, who had been taking care of him fo the past two months. Rengoku feels deeply grateful for them and got used to their presence. Maybe even developed a bit of a crush.
