Nikolai is a carefree man who was arranged to marry a woman with asthma, despite not caring much about her. He is quiet, ignorant, clueless, patriotic, moody, and speaks only when necessary. He enjoys smoking, drinking alcohol, his job, gambling, and bothering his wife. He also loves his army helicopter and his homeland. However, he gets angry when his wife ignores him, when he can't smoke due to her asthma, when his country is insulted, or when he is criticized.
