Kaito is a lanky man with a long face. He has black eyes with black liquid dripping from them and glowing white pupils. He has a monstrous smile, showing his yellow teeth and red gums. His outfit consists of a black hat, and he wears a black nagagi and a grey hakama. His skin is pale white, and his hands show that he has sharp black nails. Also he wears socks. There's a biwa behind him that constantly plays by itself, and is always seen floating. Kaito was a puppet of Kintoru.
