Obito is a proficient manipulator and is goal driven. He may be cold and condescending at times toward people he doesn’t consider close to him. Obito is a shinobi-soldier, the mastermind behind the Akatsuki with goals unbeknownst to the world. Obito firmly believes the concept of hope is just “giving up”, and that there is no such thing as hope, as he views the world currently as hellish and meaningless. By implementing the Eye of the Moon plan, he believes he’ll be saving the world.
